We like to keep things simple around here. Below you will find everything you need to know about shopping with Red Brick Emporium, including returns, shipping, local pickup and how we handle your personal information.

Returns & Exchanges
Changed your mind? It happens.
We hope you love everything you ordered from Red Brick Emporium, but if something isn't quite right, we're happy to accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Please contact us before sending anything back so we can provide return instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
FINAL SALE
Some things just aren't meant to come back.
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Greeting cards
- Fusion Mineral Paint and related consumable products
- Vintage and one-of-a-kind items
- Seasonal merchandise
- Clearance and final sale items
Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing vintage pieces. Their age, history variations and perfectly imperfect character are part of what makes them special.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Well, that's not how it was supposed to arrive!
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or we have accidently sent you the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible. Include your order number and photos of the item and its packaging. We want to help make it right.
Once an eligible return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Breakage Policy: Accidents happen. We respectfully ask that you pay 50%, we need to cover our loss. Thank you for understanding.
Shipping
Orders are carefully packed from Perth, Ontario, Canada.
Shipping rates and available delivery options are displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided by the shipping carrier and may vary, particularly during busy holiday periods or due to circumstances outside of our control.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delays can occasionally happen. If you are having trouble locating your package, please reach out and we will do our best to help.
Please double check your shipping address before completing your order. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be the responsibility of the customer.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is available in Perth, Ontario and offered at checkout.
You'll receive notification when your order is ready along with pickup instructions. Please wait until you receive your Ready for Pickup notification, we will reach out to arrange a convenient location.
Privacy & Personal Information
Your privacy matters to us.
When you shop with Red Brick Emporium, contact us, create an account, subscribe to our emails or otherwise interact with our website, we may collect personal information necessary to provide our products and services to you.
This may include information such as your:

Our online store is powered by Shopify. Information may be processed by Shopify and by trusted third party service providers that help us operate our business, such as payment processors, shipping providers, website services and email marketing providers.
We only use and disclose personal information for legitimate business purposes and as permitted or required by applicable law.
Payment information submitted at checkout is processed through our payment providers. Red Brick Emporium does not receive your complete credit card.
This Privacy Policy describes how Red Brick Emporium collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. - Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

- Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify and other associated apps.
Customer support information
- Examples of Personal Information collected: name, date of birth, address, email, etc.
- Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.

Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.
Sharing Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

We use your personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.
Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase this information. For more information on your right of erasure, please see the ‘Your rights’ section below.
Automatic decision-making
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (which includes profiling), when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.
We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.
Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:
- Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
- Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.
Cookies

We use a number of different cookies, including functional, performance, advertising, and social media or content cookies.
