About Us

Our Mission

Here at Red Brick Emporium, our goal is to turn your home into your passion. Just like each brick makes up the exterior of a home, each piece of decor turns the interior of a house into your home.

We are passionate about helping you find your personal style both for your home and for yourself, as we are always on the hunt to bring you pieces with history, character, and style. To help spark your creativity, we offer all your DIY needs, such as Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, IOD Decor Transfers & Moulds, and recurring DIY Workshops to get you inspired.

Our Story

Red Brick Emporium first opened its doors on November 7, 2015. We started out as a small home decor boutique, quickly blossoming into our downtown location as a boutique offering fashion, home, and personal wellness items. After abundant requests from clients for hands-on workshops, we reshifted again to now offer both learning and shopping experiences.

An important source of inspiration for our brand comes from the unique location of our boutique: the “Old Mill” where Dodds & Erwin’s first started their grain business in 1918. As soon as the owner, Julie Breeze, stepped into the mill she knew this was where Red Brick Emporium belonged. It represents character, history and style - exactly what we try to find in the pieces we bring to the shop.

Our location also allows us to create a relaxed shopping experience connected to nature. The ‘Old Mill’ is attached to Stewart Park, providing Red Brick Emporium’s customers with breathtaking views of the Tay River all while still being in the heart of downtown!

Community Involvement & Support

Sustainability is important to us at RBE, which is why we heavily emphasize the long-term sustainability of our planet and people through our product sourcing. From supporting small-scale local crafters to Canada-wide businesses that emphasize eco-friendly initiatives, we see the value in partnering with our local community and country as a whole. Have a small business and think RBE would be a great fit for your products? Contact us and we can discuss the potential opportunity to collaborate.

On top of emphasizing the importance of shopping locally and sustainably, RBE is proud to announce the success of our recent donation drive campaigns. Thanks to the community’s ongoing support and dedication, over 685 item-filled purses have been donated to local women at risk through our Purse Project Perth initiative. In addition, approximately 600 face shields were donated to local front-line workers throughout the duration of the COVID19 pandemic.

Be sure to add yourself to our mailing list and follow us on Facebook and Instagram. We wouldn’t want you to miss out on our next event or workshop!
